  1. Create an In Transit location for each Warehouse
    • System Management | Inventory | Locations
    • Add
    • System requires a zip code if created on website
  2. Create a Customer Type for Warehouses
    • System Management | Accounts Receivable | Customer Types
    • Add
  3. Create a Price Code for the Warehouse Customer Type with a 100% Discount (we don't want to charge ourselves!)
    • System Management | Accounts Receivable | Customer Types
    • Edit Warehouse Customer Type you just created
    • Price Code Tab | Add
  4. Create a Customer  for each Warehouse and add The Customer Type for Warehouses to it
    • Dashboard | Click on Change Customer in top
    • Add
    • Fill out Address
    • On Financial Tab, make sure to change the Customer Type Code to the one you created in #2
  5. Assign the In Transit Warehouse and Customer to each Warehouse
    • System Management | Inventory | Locations
    • Pick the appropriate warehouse
    • Maintain Location: fill out the In Transit Location (#1) with the appropriate warehouse code, and the Customer Number you created (#4)
  6. Verify that the Roles are assigned correctly to each warehouse for security
    • Using the Enterprise for Windows program (this is currently not doable on the website, but that will be eventually changing)
    • Maintain | Locations | pick the Actual Warehouse (not the in transit one)
    • Permissions tab
  7. Verify that each User that will be accessing the system has been setup and has the correct Roles
    • System Management | Users
    • Input the user login
    • Roles tab | add Warehouse Manager / Shipping and Receiving
