There are several requirements for this connector to function correctly.
In Sage 100 itself,
- The option located at Sales Orders > Setup > Sales Order Options > Retain Sales Orders/Quote History must be enabled.
- The following Modules are required:
- Common Information
- Accounts Receivable
- Inventory Management
- Sales Order
- The following Modules are supported but not required:
The following information is further required from the customer to effectively populate this connector:
- Company Number: This is your Sage company number
- Sage Path: needs to be something like \\sage100\Sage\Sage 100 Standard\MAS90\Home
- Sage User: Should be a user with full access to System, Common Information, Accounts Receivable, Inventory, and the Sales Order module. Cannot be the Administrator user.
- Sage Password: Password for the previous user.
- Customer Type: This is for new customers in Sage when they're brought down from BirdDog or another account.
- Ship Via: This is for new customers in Sage when they're brought down from BirdDog or another account.
- Tax Schedule: This is for new customers in Sage when they're brought down from BirdDog or another account.
- Tax Liability Account: Tax Liability G/L account to a sales order line when the item in Sage 100 does not have a default.
- Default Sales Account: Sales G/L account to a sales order line when the item in Sage 100 does not have a default.
- Default COGS Account: Cost of Goods G/L account to a sales order line when the item in Sage 100 does not have a default.
- Location: Warehouse assigned to new items created in BirdDog from Sage 100 when the location is blank in Sage 100.
- Items Processing: There are four options here - Upload (changes made in Sage will sync up to BD, but not the other way), Download (changes made in BD will sync down to Sage, but not other way), Two Way (changes made on either side will be synced), None.
- BOM Processing: There are four options here and this functionality depends on whether the Bill of Materials module has been activated in Sage 100 or not; if that module is not activated, then this dropdown must be set to None. If that module has been activated, then the other three options (Upload (changes made in Sage will sync up to BD, but not the other way), Download (changes made in BD will sync down to Sage, but not other way), Two Way (changes made on either side will be synced))
- Customers to Upload/Download: There are three options here - None, All, or Tax Exempt.
- Sales Order Processing: There are four options here - Upload (changes made in Sage will sync up to BD, but not the other way), Download (changes made in BD will sync down to Sage, but not other way), Two Way (changes made on either side will be synced), None.
- Invoices to Download: There are two options here - None or All.
