Follow these steps in Enterprise to run suggested purchases to generate purchase orders. You must have an appropriate role to use this functionality.
- Navigate to Warehouse Management | Purchasing | Suggested Purchases
- This page will return purchased items needed immediately or very soon. Utilize the various filters accordingly to fine-tune your search.
- Items that are "Short" do not currently have adequate quantity on-hand to fulfill current orders and will automatically appear at the top of the list according to their existing month's worth of inventory.
- This also presumes your items have been set up correctly with vendors.
At this point, you have a complete list of suggested purchases. From here, you will need to click on a specific vendor to be taken to the vendor suggested orders report.
