Coupons
Coupon - How do I create?

In Warehouse Management | Items, click Add and create a new item. NOTE: Macola ES users: You will need to create the new item in Macola. You will not need to do anything but create a generic, blank item in Macola.
After creating the Coupon Item, go to Enterprise | Maintain | Items and edit the Item you just created.
The coupon needs to be set as
Non-Stocked
.
Click on the Coupon tab.
Check the check box to set the item as a coupon.
Select the calculation method drop down and set the coupon to a percentage (e.g., 10% off) or a fixed amount (e.g. $10 off)
Enter the Percentage or Amount.
Enter the date that the Coupon Expires. The date you select indicates that the coupon will end on that day at 11:59PM.
Enter the number of uses for this coupon. This is the total number of times the Coupon can be used across
all
customers. For example, this allows you to do promotions like "First 100 customers get $20 off." Or, you could enter something like "100000" for unlimited usage.
Enter the number of uses per Customer. This is the total number of times the Coupon can be used per Customer. For example, if you only want a Customer to be able to use this Coupon once, set this number to 1. Or, you could enter something like "100000" for unlimited usage.
Next to the Calculation Method is the Applies to drop-down. This allows you to select how the coupon is applied to the order.
WholeOrder - coupon will be applied to all the items in the order.
ProductCategory - coupon will apply to Items in the selected Product Category
Item - coupon will apply to all Items you enter in the list.
In the Logistics tab, check the "Free Shipping" box (the system may apply shipping charges if you don't).
The final step will be to click on the Role Permissions tab and apply all pertinent Roles to this new item. (Turn on View & Buy permissions for the Default role so your customers can use the coupon.)
Hit OK and complete your normal procedures to upload the item to the live site.
