While Customer Service is hyper-focused on an individual customer, Sales Analysis is built for much broader reporting. Because it reports at the sales order line level, you can view sales summaries by customer, customer type, and salesperson, as well as item, location, and product category.
All of the below reports are permission-controlled, so if a salesperson does not have the rights to view a specific customer, then that customer's transactions will not show on these reports for that user.
Note also that each of the below reports has a built-in grouping which can be utilized by dragging one of the column headers into the black above it. So, for example, if you wanted to review Open Orders and wanted to group them according to the day that these orders were created, you would drag Date up into the black and click on the blue Refresh arrows. And so on.
